I’m an interior designer of more years than I dare to divulge, specializing in classic and timeless interiors with style, great colors and a touch of coastal simplicity, especially for those of us living in Florida!
To me, good interior design starts with knowing your style and finding the right color palette and then it’s about creating that sense of home that is reflective of you!
I have been in the interior design field professionally for over 30 years; have a BS in Architectural Design, and as a member of ASID I am required to complete 10 CEU’s every 2 years and that allows me to stay current on what’s going on with design and how we want to live today!
A few years ago, I was certified as a ‘true color expert’ through the Maria Killam’s color coursework. It has been a game changer for me and my clients. I always had an ‘eye’ for color, but now I have a better way to help clients understand color in their own homes; why this works, this doesn’t.
I started out working from home with little ones around, set up shop in a brick and mortar building, moved my business from Colorado to NYC and now Florida (working from home AGAIN like so many of you these days!) and the one constant is that I still LOVE creating and designing interiors for myself and for you!
*Married to the same great guy, have 3 grown sons, a spoiled rotten pup, love to travel and I enjoy the casual beach life in Florida (and my cosmo’s on friday nights)!
